Easter 2012

Amanda, Chad, Peyton, Garrison and Apollo arrived Friday evening in time for a Pizza Glen supper to start our Easter celebration. The parents went to the movie while the rest of us stayed home and had fun! Peyton immediately wanted to go get Grammaw, so she and picked up Grammaw to come over for a little visit. She had fun with bubbles outside and made a trip to the pond on #17 tee box to see frogs and turtles before Grammaw arrived. We played and had a snack before bedtime, then Grammaw went home.

Saturday morning we again picked up Grammaw. Grammy polished Peyton's toenails a bright pink which she enjoyed. Garrison had fun in the exersaucer (even if it is pink). The guys went to play golf while the rest of us went to the Easter Egg Hunt on the square - Peyton had a lot of fun this year finding eggs. Back to Grammaw's to ride her bike and tricycle and to play and have a little lunch.

We dyed eggs in the afternoon - a much more successful adventure this year - Peyton's hand-eye coordination is much improved, and she had a blast and did a good job.

Uncle Mark, Joe and Tom arrived for our main meal to celebrate Easter - prime rib and all the fixings which everyone seemed to enjoy.

Afterwards, we had another Easter egg hunt at home - Grammaw and Peyton each had a basket and laughed and laughed.

Easter day Ron and I went to Sunday School and Church where I played the organ. Back to Grammaw's for a ham lunch before the St. Louis Mintuns went back home.

A wonderful Easter - we missed Aunt Mary though - Peyton asked where she was!!!! Where's Mary????

Watching the Masters on TV with Mom - a good day.
