February 2, 2019

February is here!  On Friday, I had my very short hair, which I feel very blessed to have, shaped up and colored.  It's a little dark now, but it will fade by the time we take our trip on Valentine's Day.  God is good.

Saturday morning, we drove to Overland Park, stopping first at Kohl's, JCPenney and Hyvee.   Amanda and Chad hadn't had a date night for a while, so while we were there, they took the opportunity for a date lunch, and we had a yummy lunch at Olive Garden with Peyton and Garrison - so much fun.

It was practice time when we arrived back at the Todd house, so Peyton practiced the piano and the recorder which she is playing in school.  Garrison gave us a guitar concert with Grammy singing along on Hey Jude.

Peyton also shared her math test and her science test with us - A's on both - were were so thrilled and proud of her!

Later, Peyton, Amanda and I made a quick trip to Target which is always a hoot.  Then we all went to Garrison's basketball game at a nearby elementary school.  Garrison was on fire and made 6 baskets during the game.  He hustled the entire time, and we were so proud of him.

On Sunday, we went to church then to a Super Bowl Party at the Ammons' house.  It was a fun time with about a dozen friends.

Our warm temps are over for a while - back to the 20s this morning, but we are feeling blessed every day.
