Branson Tournament/Mother's Day 2025 - Peyton's Band Concert/Track for G

A busy week for the Todd's and Arthur's.  Garrison had his final track meet and won the 200 and second in the 100 - also did long jump and 4 x 100 relay.  He had a good time with track and improved his running skills immensely which is helping with baseball.

We went to Peyton's final Concert Band performance - it was beautiful.

On Friday, 5/9/2025, we traveled to Branson for Garrison's weekend Mother's Day Classic baseball tournament.  Before baseball started,  we went to see The New Jersey Lights musical show and had lunch at Cheddar's.

On Saturday, all 6 of us enjoyed breakfast in the dining room of The Chateau on the Lake where we were staying for the weekend.  Delicious buffet and nice to have family time.

Before baseball started at 2 pm, Peyton, Amanda, Ron and I shopped at the Outlet Mall.  Peyton cleaned up at Lululemon, and we all got new purses - Grammy got 2!  A Kate Space denim purse and a red leather purchase - a gift from Amanda for mother's day.  I also got new Skecher white tennis shoes and Ron bought new golf shoes at Skechers.

The boys won the first game - Garrison was catcher and had a good hit.  The second game they were paired with an all star team from Springfield and were definitely outmatched, losing 5-4.

Sunday we had breakfast at McDonald's before the 10 am game which Garrison pitched 4 innings, 56% strikes which is good and had a great hit,  However, they came up short in the end and were done for the weekend.  Garrison gave me a beautiful Mother's Day card with a picture of him and the team - Hilarie Williams, Wyatt's mom, organized, and we were given a cookie from the team.

Amanda had sent me Bouq's flowers for Mother's Day which were delayed at the border, so they arrived Saturday.  Our neighbor, Esther Singer, graciously took them to her house to put in water and I picked them up from her.  At the time of this writing on Wednesday, they are still beautiful.  I picked a big bouquet of peonies from our back planting area - they were transplanted from Mom's in 2015 - the best year ever.

Hostas are crazy big this year - this big one was transplanted from Ron's Mom's house in 2010.

We have a great life - we are blessed.
