Weekend

Be sure to check out the new pics of Peyton - have you ever seen a cuter baby! That smile and those dimples are priceless - and the rolls! She is certainly healthy!

I'm missing Peyton so much and am already having withdrawals from seeing her every few days. She starts school tomorrow at the Goddard School for Early Childhood Development - I know she will thrive there and that her parents lovingly selected a great school for her. She is learning so much already and changing every day - holds onto things now, plays with her crib toy, rolls over both ways, smiles and laughs, talks, etc. Can't tell that I'm a proud Grammy, can you?

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. We went to a fundraiser dinner for the Christian School on Saturday night - very unorganized and the food was just "okay", but at least I didn't have to cook! We had 6 inches of snow on Saturday, but they came by and scraped our driveway around 4 p.m., and the roads were scraped and dry by the time we left the house. Church attendance was way down today too due to the cold weather/snow. Mom and I had planned to run errands on Saturday morning, but she didn't want to get out in the snow. Ron and I went to the grocery store after church and took them their groceries, so they should be good to go for a few days.

I have been fighting off a sore throat and cold this weekend - feeling a little better now. First time I have been sick in 2 years, so I'm not liking it much.

Busy week ahead - our office is hosting Business After Hours (a Chamber of Commerce Event), so it will be a long day tomorrow - then I go to Bolivar on Wednesday for a lunch meeting and somewhere else on Thursday, but right now I can't remember where. The first of the month is always busy for me with reports, etc. We hope to go see Peyton and her parents on Saturday.
