Happy New Year 2011

2011 started perfectly for us as we were with our favorite people in the world - Amanda, Chad and Peyton! Again this year, it was our privilege to stay with Peyton while her parents enjoyed a date night out with friends to ring in the new year. Zach, the 7 month old son of Becci and Jay - the kids' friends - also stayed with us, although he was asleep the whole time, so he wasn't nearly as much fun as Peyton!

Peyton is working on potty training and is getting along quite well. Washing her hands afterward seems to be her favorite part.

2011 couldn't have begun better for me. When Peyton woke up, I went in her room to get her. She had her arms outstretched to me and said, "Grammy" with joy in her heart. It made me melt. We then went to our room to wake up PaPa and to watch a little TV before her parents got up. First Watch for breakfast was our next event - delicious and fun. Amanda and I wanted to spend our Kohl's cash, and Peyton chose to shop with us while the guys went back home. She was a hoot.

We had a blast playing with Peyton after we returned back to their house including her showing us the ropes with her new kitchen and some art work.

2011 has certainly started off well! We are blessed.
