Fun times in Olathe

With Chad out of town for the weekend playing in a golf tournament, Amanda, Peyton and Grammy took the opportunity to enjoy 24 hours of fun! Grammy picked Peyton up at school Friday afternoon which was fabulous - when I went to her room, she was looking out the window - turned around and saw me, yelled, "Grammy" and ran across the room with her arms outstretched. Brought tears to my eyes.

Amanda joined us at their house before we drove to Lidia's, an Italian Restaurant down by Union Station to join Amanda's friend, Marla, and her mother for a delicious meal and early Mother's Day celebration.

On Saturday, the 3 of us went back to Union Station for the Diana, Princess of Wales Exhibit - that 25 foot train on her wedding dress was something to see. Afterward, we ate a delicious lunch at Cheddars before going back to their house for a few hours before I traveled back to Clinton for the Rotary Shrimp Dinner.

A wonderful 24 hours with my girls.
