Winter Visit to Overland Park
While Grandpa attended the Golf Show with Chad and some of Grandpa's buddies, Grammy spent the day with Amanda, Peyton and Garrison in Overland Park. We had a great time playing and making snowmen cake pops - see display! Garrison thought the best part was eating them. Peyton did a fabulous job dipping them in the almond bark and decorating. It was quite a process!
Grandma Mintun had sent us chocolate pudding for lunch, and we also had meatballs and rice and green beans. Yummo. Chad had put down the extra twin mattress in the guest room to use as a "jumping house", and both kids had a good time jumping on it. We visited and had a good day.
Grandpa and Chad came home after lunch, and Amanda and Chad took the opportunity to run some errands while Grammy and Grandpa were there to stay with the kids - which we loved! Garrison napped, and we played with Peyton. A good time was had by all.
The day ended too quickly, and we came back to Clinton.
Earlier in the week was the two year anniversary of Daddy's death. We went to the cemetery and took flowers for his grave. Also had an 8 inch show this week - geez.
