Mintun/Arthur/Todd Easter Celebration 2019
It was a less hectic week, but I managed to stay busy. I worked at church on Monday morning then practiced with Marnie Bellamy. Tuesday & Thursday I went to exercise class. Bible Study on Wednesday morning.
Saturday was a wonderful day. We drove to OP early to watch Peyton play her first volleyball game of the Spring season. She served very well and also played well with the team. It was like we were really watching volleyball - much improved from the Fall. I think she really enjoyed it.
There was another match following the first one, however, we needed to get home to get things ready for our Easter celebration, so we headed back to Clinton with Garrison in tow. Mark and Mary arrived shortly after we got back to the house. First thing, Grandpa and Garrison played a couple of games of Reindeer something or the other, then Garrison and Aunt Mary frosted and decorated Easter sugar cookies - they had a great time and did a good job. Mary and Garrison then played Trouble.
Amanda, Chad and Peyton arrived just in time for our Easter lunch, after which the kids dyed more Easter eggs, we had an Easter egg hunt and they opened their Easter baskets. After the eggs dried, Amanda hid them outside for the outside for the outdoor Easter egg hunt.
We had a wonderful day and great family time - feeling very blessed to have the opportunity to get together as a family and share fun and laughs.
