Our Father's Day celebration began with Amanda and Peyton arriving early afternoon. Peyton enjoyed playing in her wading pool outside until the storm blew up - then she wanted to go back after the storm was over. Great Grandma and Great Grandpa along with Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Mary arrived for dinner. Peyton was so much fun and enjoyed playing with everyone and feeding her pig - an event that seems to come naturally to her since she is a banker's granddaughter! ha ha All the family group pictures are on Amanda's camera, so I don't have those for the post. Great Aunt Mary enjoyed coloring with Peyton, and Uncle Mark just had fun with the toys! Peyton took a book to Great Grandpa to read to her, and she was insistent on Great Grandma holding her.
The picture of Amanda and Peyton playing the piano is priceless - Peyton has adoring eyes of love for her Momma! The duet was quite beautiful. The wonder horse she is riding was Amanda's - Amanda did not like it when she was Peyton's age, so Harvey, as Great Uncle Mark named him, was ridden more yesterday than he had been in his 29 years of life!
What a great day of family fun.
