Ron turned 70 on August 24 - I baked him cupcakes to share with his buddies at the BBQ lunch I arranged for them at Shawnee Mound BBQ. Amanda and family took us to lunch at Jack Stack BBQ to celebrate his birthday again.
We’ve been on the sports circuit for several weeks - baseball and flag football for Garrison - volleyball and cheering for Peyton. So much fun going to all their games - sometimes 4-6 times a week. Garrison’s new team has also played in some tournaments.
Ron played in the Boy Scout Golf Tournament - they won $75 each.
I played the organ and piano at church several weeks - hope they hire someone soon.
We went to Branson 2 days with David and Deb Mills. We saw Jesus at the Sight and Sound Theatre and The New Jersey Boys on the strip, spending the night at the Fairfield Inn. Had a good time.
Mark is having surgery in October.
